Performance management is about getting the most out of your people and ensuring that the organization truly achieves its business results through them. Espire encourages and recognizes the personnel for their outstanding performance & potential. All such personnel who demonstrate excellence in their role and responsibilities are given recognition through various formal and informal meets. Formal recognition is normally awarded in the form of commendation certificates, gifts, dinner coupons for family, all expenses paid vacations, bonuses and increments, promotions, etc. Informal recognition happens through compliments in the staff meeting by the Head of the Department.  

The major thrust on motivational aspects are planned through a career progression path. This process is routed through an "Assessment Center". Personnel with high potential are routed via an assessment center, which scientifically identifies the talent of an individual, which finally culminates into a career progression after qualifying certain parameters of written test, group discussion followed by a detailed interview. Individuals who do not qualify the assessment center process, are also taken through a tutorial session as a road map towards their needs for improvement in order to overcome their weaknesses / short comings.

Our team of consultants in BPO including Medical Transcriptionist, Customer Care Executives and Data Entry Operators are given incentives in order to attain higher productivity and accuracy each day. We have devised measures to provide floor incentives to the best performers in the form of gift items. All these measures are over and above attractive salaries.

Performance Review and Development Plan

At Espire people development is a framework to identify and exploit people potential and prepare them to assume roles in the organization. It seeks to align development of individuals with the business needs and is effected through:

  • Performance Review System
  • Career Planning and Development 

Performance Review System: We customize a performance review framework that enables the following 3 important activities.

  • Position Description: We bring in more clarity to the roles by outlining the KRAs' and define the deliverables on which performance can be measured objectively.  
  • Performance Benchmarking: We develop a detailed metrics to evaluate on-the-job performance across levels and functions.
  • Performance Assessment: We assess a group of individuals on the major achievements in his/her job, as well as, the way the results have been achieved.  

Career Planning and Development: Based on the feedback received from the supervisor counseling and development plans are formulated:

  • Counseling: Counsel individuals to identify and prioritize key development areas, which allow him or her to take ownership of the development.
  • Development Plans: Formulation of in-depth time-bound development plans for the individual based on assimilated feedback from the entire process.

Employee satisfaction survey

We believe that the most worthwhile inputs for betterment of people practices come from employees themselves. We aim to treat our employees just as our employees treat their customers and it is important to us that they are satisfied. Thus we invite employee feedback for continuous improvement of people programs and identify employee perceptions on "critical to Espire employee" parameters. This survey is conducted every year.
