Business Development Manager- (London, UK)
Job Requirements
  • Domain: IT Services/ Software Services/ Customised Application Development/ Outsourcing/ IT Staffing Services
  • Experience: The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of 5-10 years of hardcore software services sales in the UK market, with superlative sales credentials.
  • Nationality: The candidate should ideally be settled in the UK for at least 2 years, and should be either be a UK Citizen or a Permanent Resident or possess a valid Work Permit or HSMP.
  • Qualifications: He/she should preferably be an Engineering Graduate with MBA in Marketing or International Business.
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualities
  • An in-depth knowledge of the dynamics of the software services outsourcing industry
  • A hardcore experience of direct selling of outsourced/ offshored software services
  • An ability to convince, handle objections and closing big-sized deals quickly
  • Relevant C-level contacts in the UK market
The detailed Job Description

He/she will be responsible for:

  • Prospecting, qualifying, proposing, negotiating and closing mid/large sized business deals.
  • Building credible and lasting relationships with prospects and customers for repeat business.
  • Delivering and exceeding challenging quota-based quarterly sales revenues.
  • Developing a healthy pipeline of suspects and prospects and accurately forecasting business deals to be closed.
  • Maintaining detailed contact and opportunity information, both accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Prospecting to establish new accounts and extending business in existing accounts.
  • Representing Espire at various business and industry meetings and trade shows.
  • Having a comprehensive channel strategy/multipoint lead generation.
  • Leveraging all available networks and alliances to uncover additional sales opportunities.
  • Setting customer expectations consistent with Espire's service offerings and delivery potential.
  • Leading people, assigning sales targets and managing competency development.
KRAs
  • Pursuing business that supports Software Services/ IT Services/ Customised Application Development or IT Staffing services.
  • Supporting vertical and BDMs to achieve the targets.
  • Meeting and exceeding revenue targets consistently.
  • Delivering sales revenue consistently month-to-month.
  • Delivering new business that encompasses all service offerings.
